Each panda begins at 2 lbs, with weighted glass beads in the paws and feet for a natural drape and balanced feel. Included are four removable 2-lb glass bead casings:

All four casings can be added or removed through a hidden zipper, allowing you to customize the weight anywhere from 2–10 lbs.

Built to Last

Every panda is completely unstuffed and turned inside out before weighting so we can reinforce every seam with a tighter stitch. Only after every seam has been strengthened do we add the 4 or 8 custom shaped glass bead casings, and carefully restuff the panda by hand. This labor-intensive process creates a sturdier plush designed to support the additional weight and hold up to daily use.

For Younger Children

If you're purchasing this large panda for a younger child, send us a message. We can assemble it at 6 lbs and include the two extra 2-lb casings separately, allowing you to increase the weight as your child grows.

Care Instructions:

To keep your panda plush soft, clean, and long-lasting:

1. Always lift and carry your panda by the belly — just like you would a real baby.
   Because this is a heavy, weighted animal, lifting it by the arms, legs, or head may cause seams to stretch or pull apart.

2. For cleaning, open the zipper on your panda’s belly, leaving the last inch of zipper closed so it is easier to zip back up. Carefully remove all weighted glass bead casings (2 snapped in below the muzzle) — set them aside.

3. Remove all polyester fiber fill (fluff) and place it in a fine mesh laundry bag for washing.

4. Turn the panda’s outer skin inside out to protect the fur and prevent the eyes from getting scratched.

5. Alternatively, if you want to zip up the panda and wash it with the poly fill still inside, you can.  We've done it this way.  You just have to be careful not to let the eyes get scratched in the washer or dryer.  You could place the whole panda in a laundry bag or dry the panda on a drying rack.  This is done at your own risk.  

6. Wash on a gentle or handwash cycle with mild detergent.

7. Dry on medium or medium-low heat for about 20 minutes.
   The dryer will fluff up both the fur and the polyfill beautifully.

8. Do not wash the glass bead casings — only the panda’s fabric skin and fluff are washable.
