Ultra-soft with bounce-back, textured tentacles, it’s a soothing chest or lap companion that can be adjusted depending on how you are feeling. - Great for wind-down, reading, or desk focus
Materials & construction
- Base plush is ~2 lbs unweighted
- We add five 2-lb weighted bead casings into the head. All can be added or removed through a side zipper for customizable comfort, allowing you to adjust the weight anywhere from 2 to 12 lbs
-
Bead casings are surrounded by thick poly fiberfill so the head stays plush even at the highest weight.
Care Instructions:
- Always lift and carry your octopus by the main body.
- For cleaning, open the zipper on the side of the head, and carefully remove all weighted glass bead casings — set them aside.
- Remove all polyester fiber fill (fluff) from the large head and place it in a fine mesh laundry bag for washing. Don't overstuff a small laundry bag as it will need room to fluff back up in the dryer.
- Turn the octos outer skin (head only) inside out to protect the eyes from getting scratched.
- Alternatively, if you want to zip up the octo and wash it with the poly fill still inside, you can. We've done it this way. You just have to be careful not to let the eyes get scratched in the washer or dryer. This is done at your own risk.
- Wash on a gentle or handwash cycle with mild detergent.
- Dry on medium or medium-low heat for about 20 minutes.
The dryer will fluff up both the fur and the polyfill beautifully. - Do not wash the glass bead casings — only the octos fabric skin and fluff are washable.
