13-inch by 24-inch Weighted Spider, Tarantula, up to 4lbs
While most of us cringe at the sight of a real spider, this one is an exception! You will fall in love with this incredibly soft and squishy tarantula. It feels so wonderful high up on your chest with the very soft fur against your neck, while the dangly legs are an added sensory experience for your hands.
This spider measures 13" long (main body only), and the leg span is 24". It is weighted with a casing of glass or glass/poly pellet mix in the 2 round portions of the main body. At 3lbs or 4lbs, it has a good heavy weight to it, as the weight is concentrated in a small area, and feels more like 6-7lbs.

My husband got me Canela (as we have named her) as a Christmas gift back in 2023. She's wonderful, I usually have her sit on my lap while I am working from home since my cat isn't a fan of laps. She's only 4lbs but definitely feels about the same weight as my 7lb cat. Canela is an amazing cuddler and I love having her around when I am reading, crocheting, watching TV, or playing games. I love spiders, and I really wanted something weighted to put on my chest for nights when I lay awake anxious, so this guy was perfect. 4lb was a perfect weight, it has been comforting to hold on my chest. The weight is pretty well distributed between the head and abdomen which makes it easy to adjust as I want. Plus it's a really well-made plush! Soft and cute.
I'm a spider lover with some sensory needs, but the concept of weighted blankets always felt too restrictive for me. He is the perfect solution for me - the maximum weight provides the perfect amount of pressure on my chest, and I really like how soft he is. And he can hug me back with his legs! On top of that, he looks just like my real tarantulas (and it's usually really hard to find anatomically correct spider toys).
